WideVision Alert

Technology silos are constantly generating numerous alerts and scattering them to across multiple screens viewed by various individuals. Lacking a real sense of business or user impact, managing priorities in alignment with business needs is difficult at best.

WideVision Alert enables IT control room staff to effectively manage the daily flow of alerts and relate them to business priorities. It captures all the alerts from your infrastructure tools — CA TNG, Tivoli, BMC Patrol, HP OpenView, NetIQ and more — then identifies the severity of impact on users, business units and locations. You view alerts on dashboards, in business-relevant terms, which group alerts by geography, business service or technology. For each group, WideVision Alert summarizes pending alerts and the affected components. In addition, it recognizes and suppresses duplicate alerts.

WideVision Alert's unique business impact functionality delivers real-time automated analysis of the impact IT incidents are having on business functions. For each business function it classifies the current situation as normal, degraded or critical. The analysis also relates the number of incidents and their severity during a given period to the number of locations impacted and technical components involves.


WideVision Service Health Check

WideVision Service Health Check provides a central coordination point for monitoring your services. An intuitive dashboard provides a real-time, high-level overview of both the health of your services and the results of your standard operational routines such as batches or query checks.

With WideVision Service Health Check, you are instantly informed when a service or operational task is at risk. Its root-cause feature and related information — such as component availability, response time, process time, data volume and exchange rate — help you identify the origin of the problem to quickly address it. Business impact analysis tells you which customers are affected by problems before they call the help desk.
